Child with Santa

I grew up in a small town not unlike Lead Hill, and one of the things I remembered most from my childhood  was when a small town nearby would throw a yearly street party. We had food, games, and lots of fun.

The reason I host a Family Fun Night at our book fairs is so I can share the joy, memories, and fun with our community and our students.

I want to shout out and thank those who helped me relive these memories and share them with others:

Lead Hill Preschool for helping provide items for the fair.

All of the ladies and the one gentleman (such a brave man!) from Lead Hill First Baptist Church who provided the yummy soup, cookies, and hot chocolate.

The Lead Hill Cheerleaders for the promotions and helping clean up (I've never seen a place cleaned up so fast!)

Lead Hill Cheer with Santa

Katherine Frantz and Rexina Campbell for photography and "wrangling".

Last, but not least (AT ALL!) THANK YOU! to Santa for fitting us in your very busy schedule! It made my heart grow three sizes to see how excited our kiddos were to see you!

Thank you to all of you and our community for helping make the book fair a success.

Sincerely,

Ms. Amy Curtis
