On Monday, October 23 at 5:30 p.m. there will be a brief community meeting in the library where the district facilities master plan will be shared. Following the community meeting will be the regularly scheduled school board meeting at 6:00 p.m. also in the library.
Reminder: The Free Flu Vaccines for Students and Staff is on October 19th at 8:30 a.m.
Boone County Health Department will be at Lead Hill Schools providing the immunizations. A signed consent is required; consents were sent home with each student, but if another is needed, please let us know. Please have forms turned in by October 18th.

Come join us tonight to kick off basketball season! Lead Hill FFA will be serving BBQ (BBQ pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, potato salad, cookie, & water) FREE TO THE COMMUNITY at 5:00 p.m. before the Red & White Games!
Games begin at 5:30 p.m. Admission is 2 bath towels or laundry detergent ($4.00 for adults; $3.00 for students if you don't bring a laundry item). Our annual pie auction will be held that night as well. Desserts being auctioned off need to be dropped off at the back lower level gym entrance near the coaches offices. We look forward to seeing you there!

The Brandon Burlsworth Youth Center in Harrison will be having a basketball league for students in 3rd-4th grades. We would love to have enough interest to have both a girls and boys team from Lead Hill participate.

Congratulations to this year's Homecoming Court! Homecoming will be held on Friday, November 3rd versus Eureka Springs Highlanders. The Jr. Girls game will begin at 4:00 p.m. followed by the Jr. Boys game. The Homecoming ceremony will follow the Jr. High games. The Sr. Boys game will be played after the ceremony concludes. Alumni (graduate years ending in "4") will be recognized during halftime of the Sr. Boys game. The Sr. Girls game will be the last game of the evening.
"Tiger Tees & Things" (Small Business Operations Class) is selling Homecoming Shirts. Order forms were sent home with students last Friday. Extra forms are available in the K-12 Office. ORDERS ARE DUE TUESDAY, OCTOBER 17th.

The Lead Hill Volunteer Fire Department stopped by to teach our elementary students all about fire safety during Fire Safety Week!
Equity Bank came by today and taught the 7th and 8th grade math classes how to make S.M.A.R.T goals! Thank you Equity Bank for your support of our school and our students!!
Fall Festival is today from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Lead Hill School! Admission is $1.00 for students and $2.00 for adults. We'll have games & prizes, food, and more! We look forward to seeing you there!!
There will be no school Friday, October 13th through Monday, October 16th for Fall Break. School will resume on Tuesday, October 17th.
We will be offering season passes for the 2023-24 basketball season! A season pass is $50.00 per person (not a family pass). Season passes are valid for all our home basketball games and home peewee basketball games. Season passes can be purchased in the District Office.

LEAD HILL BASKETBALL RED & WHITE GAMES
WHEN: Thursday, October 12th @ 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: High School New Gym
COST: (2) Bath Towels or Laundry Detergent
If you choose not to bring bath towels or laundry detergent, admission to the games will be $4.00 for an adult and $3.00 for a student. All admission proceeds will go towards our Lead Hill School District summer programs.
We will also have our PIE AUCTION with all proceeds going towards the boy’s and girl’s basketball teams.
Bring a dessert to be auctioned off. The desserts need to be dropped off on Thursday, October 12th. There will be a table set up in the hallway next to the coaches offices. Please use the back lower level entrance near the coaches offices.
Peewee Basketball (Grades 4-6) will be going to a jamboree in Western Grove on Saturday, October 7th. Players need to be at the Lead Hill Gym at 7:00 a.m. to ride the bus since the first game will start at 8:30 a.m. There will be no locker rooms, so players need to come dressed in their uniform provided by their coach. The last game will start at 1:00 p.m., so they should return around 2:10 p.m. that afternoon. A copy of the game schedule is also attached.
Lead Hill FFA invites you to the Annual BBQ & Basketball! They will be serving the community a FREE BBQ DINNER before the Red & White Games on Thursday, October 12th! The meal will be served at 5:00 p.m. and the games will start at 5:30 p.m.
