Boone County Health Department will be at Lead Hill Schools providing the immunizations. A signed consent is required; consents were sent home with each student, but if another is needed, please let us know. Please have forms turned in by October 18th.
Congratulations to Mr. Abraham on being awarded the Arvest Bank "We Love Teachers" Campaign! Mr. Abraham won $500 for his classroom!
Mr. Abraham voluntarily came to ballgames and took pictures that he shared with faculty, staff and students. He teaches in a more non-traditional style and has a classroom that is very comforting and inviting to students. He wanted to be a teacher because he loves kids and watching them open their minds to learning new things. He relates well because he is still young at heart!
Join us for the Fall Festival on Saturday, October 7th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Lead Hill School! Admission is $1.00 for students and $2.00 for adults. We'll have games & prizes, food, and more! We will be serving a hot dog combo for $3.00 (hot dog, chips, and water).There will be a Costume Contest with two grade-level divisions (Kindergarten-2nd grade & 3rd-6th grade) - Prizes will be given!! The Junior Class will be hosting a Petting Zoo at the FFA Barn ($1.00 admission). We look forward to seeing you there!!
Jostens will return on Monday, October 2nd to collect any Senior order forms or answer questions you have. They will meet with you in the Beastro around 1:00 p.m.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, September 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The annual Title I meeting will be held during conferences at 5:00 p.m. in the Title I Room in Building A.
There will be no school for students on Friday, September 29th due to a Teacher Flex Day.
Jostens will be meeting with the Senior class in the Beastro on Tuesday, September 26th at 10:40 a.m. to present graduation items for ordering. They will return at a later date to collect orders and answer any questions; we will announce this date after it has been set.

Yesterday our K-6 students came home with fundraising brochures. This is the Elementary’s largest fundraiser of the year. All the money is spent on our students like going towards the cost of reward trips for students and class trips at the end of the year. This year we have 2 brochures. You can order and pay online.
The first one is called Reader’s Café. You order for this by going to goezfr.com. Then you will enter the school ID which is LEAD26.
The second brochure is called Sweet and Savory. You will log on to fundraisingnet.com. Then at the top of the page, you will click "register seller." Once you register your student, you will get a student ID to give to all of your friends and family to also order online. You can even send emails with the information directly from that website.
Students who sell 5 items will be rewarded with a popsicle party and extra recess for all their hard work. Students who sell 25 items will get either a drone or a Kindle!! There are many prizes in between for sales!
MUMS ARE HERE! You may pick your order up today until 3:00 PM or Saturday from 8 AM - 12 PM. We will announce later the available pickup times for next week. We do have additional mums available for anyone who didn’t place an order, so come see us today or Saturday! Lead Hill FFA appreciates your support!
