Lead Hill School invites the community to join us for the annual Harvest Supper! It will be held on Monday, November 21st from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria. A silent auction will be held during that time. Tickets are $8.00 per plate for turkey and ham with all the fixings! Lead Hill Elementary is hosting a contest from November 1st-November 14th for K-8th grade students in preparation for our annual Harvest Supper! Each grade is assigned particular items to donate; the grade who completes their list first or collects the most items will receive a pizza party!!

Congratulations to George Sindland, who was recognized for attaining the highest rank of Eagle Scout at the Eagle Court of Honor on Sunday, October 30. He is pictured with his Grandfather, Les Sindland, who he credits for leading him to scouting. He is also pictured with his father and mother, Lee and Lynn Sindland.

The FAFSA determines the financial aid you may be eligible to receive for college. Parents are welcome to attend and will need to bring 2021 tax documents to fully complete the application. Lead Hill FFA Officers are in Indianapolis, Indiana to attend the National FFA Convention!
There are over 60,000 FFA students and advisors in attendance this year for the 95th National FFA Convention and Expo!!

The Annual Report to the Public will be held in the Library on Thursday, October 27th at 6:00 p.m.
Tiger Bus News UPDATE: The Giraffe bus will be leaving school at the beginning of 8th period (around 2:40 pm) to run its normal route. The bus driver should be back around dismissal time to run the Horse bus route, so the Horse bus students should be getting home closer to their normal drop off time.
Tiger Bus News: Students who ride the Rooster bus and Squirrel bus may have different pick up and drop off times for the remainder of the week. The Rooster bus students will ride the Squirrel bus in the afternoons of October 26th-28th. The Rooster bus route will be running late in the mornings of October 27th-28th.
Friday, October 28th is an early dismissal day. Students will dismiss at 1:00 pm.

This is a friendly reminder regarding student absences: in order for student absences to be excused, parents/guardians must send in a handwritten note, email bbrown@leadhillschools.net, or send a Class Dojo message to the student’s teacher to report the student’s absence. A professional note from a doctor, dentist, therapist, etc. will also be accepted. Doctor’s excuses can be faxed to 870-436-6827. Attendance notes must be turned into the K-12 Office within 5 days of the student’s absence - notes will not be valid after this 5 day grace period expires.
