Mrs. Kira Burns and Lead Hill School District thanks Mr. Parker and the American Legion-Douglas MacArthur Post 340 of Diamond City and Lead Hill for their $500 donation towards our Special Olympics team.

REMINDER: Friday, March 6th will no longer be an early dismissal day. This will be a full day; students will dismiss at regular time (3:25 p.m.) in order to make up hours from our early dismissal on February 25th.
Join us TOMORROW at 11:45 a.m. to send our Senior Boys off to the State Tournament! The bus will leave from the New Gym then drive past the Agri Building, Old Gym, Preschool, then out in front of the K-12 Office. Parents/fans are welcome to come outside and cheer the Tigers on to State!

Lead Hill School District would like to take a moment to thank all those who helped make hosting the 1A-1 Regional Tournament a success; it takes a village for these things to run so efficiently and we’re lucky enough to have the support of so many amazing people from our community!
Thank you Casey Scribner State Farm, Weichert Realtors, Helton-Baker Family, and Lead Hill & Diamond City Area Chamber for working the concession stand throughout the tournament; Abe Clary, Tyler Robinson, & FFA members for parking cars each night; DaNita Foster, Melisa Thompson, Dorothy Tackett, Juanita & Diccon Steelman, and Kristen Reese for manning various gates; Mindy Harmon, Dorothy Tackett, Christie Taylor, and Kayla Reed for selling t-shirts; Courtney Rushing and FBLA for making and selling programs; various members of our basketball teams for sweeping the floors between each game; Heath Richardson, Autumn Miles, Barry Reese, and Danny Baker for working the scores table all week; Lighthouse Bible Church for donating a warming mat to the school for our hospitality room; and finally a HUGE thank you to all those who had a hand in helping in the hospitality room all week!
We had the privilege of watching both our teams compete in the tournament on our home court. Unfortunately, our Senior Girls ended their season this past week. They put in a lot of effort this season and we’ll miss the Seniors who will be graduating this year! Our Senior Boys played in the Finals and ended up finishing as the 1A-1 Regional Tournament Runner Up! These boys have been so fun to watch this year and aren’t done yet!

Lead Hill School District would like to recognize Jill Williams and Emily Fortner, both math teachers, for achieving a VAM score of 80 or higher on the Spring 2025 ATLAS test. Teachers whose students in grades 3-10 who meet growth projections in the subjects of English, Math, or Science have VAM scores at or above 80. Congratulations and Well Done!
