Board Member Spotlight! Name: September Creamer-Middleton How Long Served on School Board: This is my 7th Year serving on the Lead Hill School Board. Favorite Thing About Being a Board Member: There are many things I love about being on the school board. Seeing the students grow and move into their futures is one of the most rewarding parts. I love being able to give back to my alma mater and serve the community in this capacity. I appreciate that I am part of a group of people that love this community and understand how important this school, it’s staff and these students are to this community. Most Challenging Thing About Being a Board Member: There are many challenges and many responsibilities that come with this position. The most challenging part is that when we make decisions there is usually a lot more information involved in making the decision than what can legally be shared with the public. There are excellent laws in place to protect our students, staff and administration that refrain the board from sharing information regarding these issues. I have served on this board for many years now and have seen board members move in and out. I can say that every person that I have served with has always put our students first. Hobbies: This question should be, what are your kids up to. My hobbies and the things I enjoy are whatever my boys are into. We love Tiger basketball, baseball, and the trap team. We love our church and church family. We love to watch our Chiefs play football and a good at home movie night. I love all things Christmas and all things 4th of July! Family Info: I have been a member of this community since 1988 when my parents moved our family here from Harrison. My husband, Troy and I have been together for 21yrs. We have two boys that attend Lead Hill School, Tanner and Tucker. Both my boys started preschool at Lead Hill and remain here. Lead Hill School is my mother’s alma mater, and my grandfather was a contractor in this area in the late 60’s and 70’s. I serve as the administrator at Monarch Tabernacle Church. I have worked for Windstream Communications on and off since 2005. I have also served as a PTO officer at Lead Hill in the past and along with Tina Rogers and Lisa Jones, was part of the original team that started the Angel Tree program at Lead Hill School.

Board Member Spotlight! Go Tigers! Most Challenging Thing About Being a Board Member: The most challenging part about being a new school board member is the amount of rules and regulations required to learn to effectively function in this role. Hobbies: I enjoy sharing a passion for barrel racing with my daughter and the time our family spends together weekend camping at the races, watching both of our kids play sports, farm life and spending time with friends and family. Family Info: My husband Carry and I have 2 kids: daughter Averi (15) and son Case (10).
